Accelabar® is a new and unique technology that incorporates the method of flow measurement with two differential pressures. Our product, which has the ability to generate high differential pressure, thus provides a wider measurement range, allowing for very precise measurement of gases, steam, and liquids without the need for straight pipe distance. Accelabar consists of a unique toroidal nozzle and the combination of a Verabar® averaging pitot tube. The patented nozzle conditions the incoming flow profile, balancing it and delivering it to the Verabar averaging pitot tube. As the speed of the flow reaching the pitot tube increases, the resulting differential pressure will also increase. This positively affects the measurement accuracy and increases the measurement range. Accelabar measures with an error margin of 0.5%. The high accuracy claims of other manufacturers are only valid for a limited measurement range.
